Introduction to Coc Ly commune 

Coc Ly is a commune in Bac Ha town, Lao Cai province. In the language of the indigenous people, Coc Ly means “plum root”. Although it is not clear why this place has such a name as the name Coc Ly, it clearly contains many interesting things. The journey into Coc Ly commune takes you across majestic roads, one side is the same cliffs, and the other side is the blue winding river. This is a highland commune about 18 km from the center of Bac Ha town. To get to Coc Ly commune, visitors follow the provincial road 153 and cross the Bac Ha heaven gate to the southwest.
