Toom Sara Village

We offer ourselves a moment of rest with Toom Sara. The beginningless and concluding stories go on while we sit together in the chilly mountain air at night, watch the blazing sparks fly against the starry sky, and enjoy the delicious scent of baked sweet potato. It was at that point that I understood I was not living alone.

Description

Toom Sara Village is an eco-tourism area, located in the western area of Da Nang city on National Highway 14G. About 30 kilometers from the Da Nang city center, Toom Sara Village is nestled between the mountains and forests of Hoa Phu commune, Hoa Vang district. Many people also refer to this location as the Suoi Hoa eco-tourism region. This is the location where the Co Tu people reside, combining resort amenities, sightseeing, and learning about the locals' rich cultural traditions. Visitors can enjoy the amusing amenities, interact with nature, and enjoy the picturesque mountains and forests.

Cultural information

Not only is an attractive tourist destination, but Toom Sara Village is also a place to preserve the Co-tu people's stories and distinctive traditional cultural characteristic. The Cotu ethnic group rebuilt the original Cotu village here with the Guol and several Moong houses surrounding it, giving the area of the village a livelier and more distinctive feel.

Based on the idea of "letting the culture live in accordance with its inherent nature," Toom Sara Village and its partners have developed a tourism model that uses the Cotu culture as its cornerstone to bring the beauty of the Cotu culture to more people. Visitors have the chance to become immersed in the rhythm of Co Tu culture by attending the Co Tu Show cultural exchange program, which is held twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday at 19:30 on the Camping Zone lawn of the Village.
