Introduction to Gia Khau village

Gia Khau is located in a small valley, surrounded by high mountains, with a system of pristine caves such as Ron cave, Monkey cave and Bear cave.

The village is located in the heart of a rich valley, surrounded by majestic limestone mountains. Here, the ecosystem is fresh, and the environment is still unspoiled, nestled in the limestone mountains sheltered by tropical forests. Gia Khau has a cave system that is becoming famous for the splendor, magnificence, and mystery that nature has generously bestowed here.

Visitors will temporarily forget the long tiring days of work as they walk on beautiful roads to drop into pristine nature such as Cay Ban, Khe Vua, and the Valley of Love. In addition, you can also visit the scenic relic Gia Khau cave system 1. Gia Khau cave, located on a low mountain, is a system including three caves, divided into three levels in three different directions and tucked away in a valley.

Cultural information

It is mostly the Mong people who live here, who bring ethnic and cultural features that have created a unique and unmistakable beauty within this village. The images of Hmong girls wearing traditional costumes, boys with Khen dances, and small houses appear in the morning sunlight, forming a  beautiful and picturesque scene. Here, in particular, visitors can also experience the folk games of the Mong people, traditional dances, and folk songs.

The ethnic and cultural features of the people here are still preserved such as costumes, traditional house folds, ethnic festivals, culinary culture, brocade weaving, and farming practices… Gia Khau I also Known as Gau Tao Festival, one of the traditional festivals of the Mong people, is held annually here on the 14th and 15th of the first lunar month every year.
